Rebrand.
For nearly twenty years we have been trading as intrepid Expeditions and due to infringement rights are now calling the business Snow and Paddles as not to cause any confusion whilst trading as Intrepid Expeditions for booking and insurance purposes until 2023 when everything will become Snow and Paddles.
Same company, same course and trips and as always delivered with the same passion.
Finally the light seems to be at the end of the tunnel, which is why we are now confident in launching our UK canoe trips after the recent news from the UK Government .

Summary
Sweden is exempt from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice against all non-essential international travel. This is based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks.
From 4am on 12 September, Sweden will be added to the list of countries where self-isolation on return to the UK is not required. You will still need to provide your journey and contact details before you travel. See guidance on entering or returning to the UK.

Snowmobile adventure 2021
Next years snowmobile trip date has been launched …. due to covid-19 we will be keeping this course to a small group size, 7 spaces have gone already so if you are interested please give us a call.

Light at the end of the tunnel.
Our prime minister had recently announced that campsites and over night trips will be allowed in England as of the 4th July. Well done everyone for a sterling effort to control this terrible virus.
Our dormant canoes and equipment are ready, so watch this space for some U.K. canoe trip dates.

This winter we have been trialling some fjallraven winter clothing. So we have gone for the polar parka jacket and the polar bib trousers.
I can confirm that they are an excellent product … in fact so good when working in bone chilling temperatures we were so warm we had to keep taking them

Snow and Paddles is the first U.K based company (so we are told) for all their staff to be qualified snowmobile guides… so much so that the exam had to be translated from Swedish to English…. they were impressed with our safety measures that we have PUT in place on every snowmobile trip over the years… well done team.
